EVEREST & BETCLIC MOVES TO IPOKER

The independent poker website known as Everest Poker is making plans to scrap their own software platform and move on to the iPoker Network.Everest consists of two poker rooms, a small international poker room that has a license in Malta, and also an ARJEL licensed poker room that is regulated in the French market.

Everest Poker has performed quite poorly this year and has lost 30%-40% of their cash game traffic in the last 6 months according to PokerScout. The dot. FR website has held its position as the third-larges in France and the dot.com website is lagging behind other networks that are struggling such as IGT/Entraction and Microgaming.

For the Everest player they are bound to see quite a lot of increase in the game liquidity. They will see a lot of action across many games. They will also have great access to iPoker’s new fast-fold poker product that is “Speed Hold’em”

It is said that iPoker will begin its network segregation policy next month and separate the network with top-tier skins that have access to exclusive tables. It is quite uncertain if Everest will make the cut because it has to meet monthly targets for the current players and the new players. As of now only five or six skins are on the “iPoker2” network.

French online gaming group known as Mangas Gaming has owned a large portion of Everest and received the remaining shares last month. There have been no details that have been released as to when the transition of the new platform will take place. The representative from Everest was not present to confirm the report or give more details.
