MALTA

The Land Down Under

In December I made the decision to visit Chris an old mate in Brisbane, Australia. Chris and I used to work together in Malta where we both lived for many years. In November last year we chatted on skype and Chris mentioned he might be moving back to Malta if a job presented itself. I then decided to visit him while having the opportunity to so. It is a brilliant chance to experience The Land of Down Under.

Moment of Truth

They say it's lonely at the top, in whatever you do
You always gotta watch motherfuckers around you
Nobody is invincible, no plan is foolproof
We all must meet our moment of truth

These are the opening lines by Guru in “Moment of Truth” by Gang Starr.

Actions have reactions don’t be quick to judge. You may not know the hardships people don't speak of.
It's best to step back, and observe with couth. For we all must meet our moment of truth.

WPT Malta €3300 ME Day 2

The closets I have been to true love the past 15 years is the love I feel for my favourite TV show “The Sopranos”. Corrado “Junior” Soprano described my Day 2 best “I was waiting like patience on a monument”. I find it annoying when people complain about being card-dead for the simple fact that boring stories are boring to listen to. I will make it short ladies and gentlemen.

Special thanks to GlobalEventCoverage.com for giving me the photos for this blog and supporting me during the tournament.

€3300 WPT Main Event Day 1a

I changed my original plan and decided to play day 1a yesterday. I had found out you could buy-in again on Day 1b if you got knocked out on Day 1a. Furthermore playing Tuesday would give me a day of rest before playing Day 2 on Thursday. The tournament started around 4 pm. I came 15 minutes into the tournament and found my seat between an older German guy and young Austrian online tournament pro. We started with 30,000 chips and blinds were 50/100. I was highly motivated after having a very good live cash game session Sunday here in Malta.

WPT Trip – Life Tilt to Happiness

After packing my bags and leaving my apartment 4am I was on my way to Malta for the third time this year. As I was walking towards Copenhagen’s central station I realized that that I forgot a charger for my MacBook. It was too late to turn back and it was too early to buy a new one...

My Story of PokerHistory

Today is the first day in a new era of my life. I have been working in the online gambling industry since I was 20 years old. At the age of 21 I bought the domain Poker.dk together with two industry friends. Due to a law that was passed in Denmark November 2003, I got a letter in 2004 telling me I had to close Poker.dk. The alternative was to leave the country. If not I could face 2 years in prison and have everything we earned confiscated plus get a fine of 100% of what we made. As most of you know I chose to move to Malta.
