IPOKER SKINS CONSOLIDATES AHEAD OF NETWORK CHANGES

Celeb Poker has done an agreement with Titan Poker in which the all the players will go over to Titan, which his the largest skin on the iPoker network. The transition is supposed to begin prior to the segregation of the player pools on the iPoker network and are going to take place on September 1st.

Online Poker Report released a letter to the CelebPoker affiliates in which they announced the merging affiliates to “remove any CelebPoker banners or other marketing materials from your site(s) before August 27th, 2012.”

The iPoker skin Dracula Poker shut down its doors this week and the players are also moving on to Titan Poker. According to a new policy set it is to come in effect this week. Two tiers of player pools are said to exist with lower tier poker skins running with a pool of players and the top tier rooms have additional exclusive tables.

All of the tables up to NL400 and will be affected. In order to become top tier the room must meet a set of monthly targets in terms of the active players. The new player acquisitions and the scoring metric takes into consideration the account balances of the players. The scoring for the key metrics have begun on July1st.

The players on CelebPoker and Dracula have likely fallen into the lower tier. Titan is boosted with extra players and will be expected to make the cut. Last month Playtech which is the owner of iPoker network has been defined in some of the ways that the player pools in the different tiers will be separated.

The separation will only take place on small stake No Limit cash tables up to $2-$4 and some sit-and-go tournaments. Roei Gavis who is the Head of Poker at Playtech has told poker fuse that all multi-table tournaments and Speed Hold’em tables will be available to players present on both tiers.
