True Poker was one of the first online poker rooms in the world and it had its peak around 2002-2003. True Poker was the first to offer 3D poker. They no longer offer the 3D games since they switched software provider to IGsoft software also known from Enet Poker.²

Besides being one of the first online poker rooms in the world there is not much more to say about this poker room as it has been far behind the competition for almost a decade.

Usually a network is the same company as the software provider. Yatahay is not like most networks since they do not own the software. Yatahay is a group of independent offshore sports books united on the Yatahay Poker Network. Yatahay is leasing the software from IGsoft and could potentially join a larger network like Tain is doing with Playtech.

On May 23rd 2011 a Maryland federal grand jury indicted the companies gambling operating on the Yatahay Network. Following domains were seized:

The indictments were rather short compared to the PokerStars & Full Tilt Poker case. The first charges K23 Group Financial Services, doing business as BMX Entertainment, and Ann Marie Puig with “conducting gambling business” and money laundering. The second charges ThrillX Systems, Ltd, doing business as BetED.com, Darren Wright, and David Parchomchuk with the same. Both reference small transfers to back up the claims of money laundering.³

Winning Poker Network Statistics

Doyles Room left Cake Network in January 2011 only to shut down its operations after Black Friday. It is a bit ironic that Doyles Room was acquired by a poker room using the conflicting domain name AmericasCardRoom.EU (!). AmericasCardRoom was in the past a stand alone poker room that shut down. It was later acquired and re-launched on Yatahay.

Yatahay continues to accept US players and have not closed doors but instead moved its .com domains to .eu or .ag

Yatahay network changed name to Winning Poker Network January 2012 and claims to be the fastet growing poker network in the world. It might be possible because they still accept US Players.⁴

Heritage Sports joined the network in August 2012 becoming the 8th poker skin on the network.
